So while he was cooking it was apparent that whoever prepped his food cart didn’t put the correct amount of food on. I suppose we were special enough get the «try to burn your face off» show. I’d like to add that we did not get the onion volcano… which other tables got and later the cook did it for the next table he cooked at. 10 minutes later out cook comes out and starts doing his thing. So once our table was fully seated the waiter comes out and takes our order. Some sort of soup, rice, and steak/seafood/chicken. The menu is pretty much the same as all the other hibachi places I’ve ever been to. So on a visit to the in-laws we decided to celebrate my father in-laws belated birthday here. Als Alkohol gibts neben dem obligatorischen Sake auch 5 Japanische Biere, Wein und verschiedene Cocktails. Abgerundet wird das Essen durch einen leckeren Grüntee. Das Fleisch und der Fisch wird übrigens nach Wunsch gebraten - von Roh bis ganz durch geht alles. Sehr zu empfehlen das Filet Mignonund der Tunfisch. Als erstes gibts frische Shrimps, weiter gehts mit verschiedenem Gemüse, entweder steamed oder fried Reis und dann die Krönung: das Fleisch oder Fisch oder beides - je nachdem was man als Hauptgang gewählt hat. Das Dinner besteht aus verschiedenen Gängen: Suppe &Salat kommen noch aus der Küche, aber von nun an wird frisch am Tisch grilliert. Dieses kostet zwischem $ 22 und $ 28 - je nach Fleisch welches man zum Hauptgang wählt. Für alle anderen: Freut euch :) Klassischerweise wählt man das Dinner Menü. Achtung: Wer Angst vor Feuer hat (und davon gibt es reichlich) sollte ein wenig Abstand nehmen. Nachdem man alles bestellt hat kommt ein Koch der Gang für Gang kocht und direkt in die Teller serviert. Wer noch nie in einem japanischem steakhouse war der kann sich auf etwas gefast machen! Hier wird akrobatisch mit Messern umgegangen, flambiert, gekocht - und das alles direkt am eigenen Tisch! Die Stühle sind daher in einer Hufeisen Form rund um eine riesige Kochplatte angeordnet.
